The glory of early morning logins, they tend to work out this way. I know I've had my fair share of good luck in the wee hours. GRATS!

I too had an early morning today, but mine has been the total opposite of yours! Nothing has been up (guess they're all sleeping).

Yes...yes the hits keep on coming. Karkin is now a part of my family. All that's left is Solix and Skarr.

Use the same macro for Skarr. x3 Solix may be a bit more tricky.

Taming Skarr is exactly the same as taming Karkin, just interrupt the Flame Barrage thingie and its gtg. If competition for him is fierce or its a pvp server you might want to use Ancient Hysteria of a speed potion just in case.

And I get what you mean about liking your new server. I moved my Warlock main from Kil'Jaeden to Crushridge to raid and never would have had the luck I've had with rares if I'd lvl'd my hunter on KJ. Not to mention Crushridge isn't as much of a gankfest as KJ is.

Tip for taming Skarr/Karkin, as well as Kirix:
Use the windy thing to do a super jump, and stay on the floating island up there, and tame. The 50% haste does NOT show in the cast bar, so your tame will go through at the 50% mark. With even a negligible amount of haste to make the original time less than 10 seconds (making the modified time less than 5), the tame goes through without needing to do anything.
Easier to do when Skarrkin is located on the far spawn, rather then the one by Kirix's spawn.
