This should strike up some interests but the plague hound-like dogs in Karazhan are actually tameable. If needed proof I will add a link of a picture of my hunter with one of the tamed dogs but if you head into Kara the dogs and spiders (i think the spiders can) are tameable and you can get yourself a neat translucent pet that looks like one of the spirit beasts. Mind you if you do get the plague hound one it'll be smaller than a usual plague hound but still cool looking. I called mine "Shade"

They're all listed here, I suggest you peek around to see what else can be tamed.

If you like those types of pets, Tukari, may I also suggest a ghostly boar from Razorfen Kraul? You may like them, too. (It is RFK and not RFD, right?)
