I've been levelling a Tauren paladin. When I got her down to Tanaris, I saw these wonderful looking beetles and I was struck by them immediately. I'd been meaning to tame one for a while, but I finally got around to it tonight. One of two beetles I tamed:

His name is Plink, and I'm surprised by just how well he matches that dragon. I had a lot of fun doing my dailies with him today, as I'm waiting 'til tomorrow to give my other beetle tame - an Amethyst Scarab named Boing - his day out. So far, I honestly love Plink for all he's a very OOC pet for me to have on Mel. Mel isn't so fond of bugs, but these two beetles are for me.

And what did I happen upon while I was out doing my dailies but my very first sighting of Skarr! I rushed over as soon as I could to get a chance at him and made a few discoveries. He was probably always immune to Scare Beast, but now he's immune to Wyvern Sting as well. I did die to him once, but all it took was a hop over the rock for the buff and one hit of Deterrence, and I had myself a gem cat.

His name is Sentaren, and I'm going to find a way to relate him to Halaren and Veltharen, Mel's cat pair. I have no idea how I'm going to do it yet, but it's worth the effort. He's so lovely!
