Mike Morhaime at BlizzCon 2011 just announced the Blizzard Annual Pass, which will include Tyrael's Charger in-game WoW mount. I'm trying to get a link with more details.

It'll be a 12 month subscription to WoW, and you'll get perks with the mount and guaranteed beta access to the next expansion. ^^

The links on Battle.net don't work quite yet, although they did just show up a minute ago.

Apparently the Annual Pass is just a 12-month WoW subscription, billed monthly, that includes the digital version of Diablo III for free, plus beta access to the next WoW expansion, plus Tyrael's Charger.

I added an image of the mount from MMO Champion since I can't seem to find one on the Blizzard sites yet.

Once you sign up for the Annual Pass, you get the message:

Tyrael’s Charger: Available via in-game mail with the launch of Patch 4.3: Hour of Twilight.

It doesn't have to be monthly, it can be Month to month, or every 3 or 6 months.

I'm a sucker for anything Tyrael. Still, it's not a bad deal I think, especially if you decide to do the cheapest route with 6 month plan.

I already usually do a yearly pass to WoW anyways...so I really want to do this. But my main question would be since I wanted the collector's version of Diablo...I wonder if I'll have to buy that as well or something. >.>

Yeah I'm like you on that I want the collector's version of it too and I don't know if I want to be buying the same game twice.

ive probably only paid a 1 month sub maybe 3 times since WoW's come out, i always go with 6 month *jumps up and down and squeals* when i return im sighing asap for the 6 month or if they come out with a 12 month, that (i play like every day when i got a sub x3)

Edit: Hmm, just to make sure, is this something that blizz plans to continue on or is it only during the blizzcon event?

You get 3-4 (forgot) free months of WoW game time if you buy the collectors edition ontop of this deal. Not bad, imo.

Hmm. I'm intrigued. How much more does it cost than a typical sub? (I apologize for the nub question, but I'm really not the one that pays attention to the bills in my family. >.<)

It's actually the same price of whatever sub you're currently using, you just have to commit to a year but you make the same payment you do now.

Is this a Blizzcon only event (aka you gotta buy it NAO before Blizzcon ends)? Or can it be done down the road like say, 6 months from now >.>;; (curse all this awesome stuff coming out as im preparing to to to school)
