I am SO EXCITED for this expansion I cannot even contain myself. Pandaren. PANDAREN. PANDARIA AAHHH.

This is the type of zone I've always wanted to see in game, I am SO excited. WoW has always done a fantastic job of mimicking real-world areas, but I've always thought it lacked the Asian mountainous region.

It's good to get pretty again.

is this serious or not? i know i'ts been officialy announced at blizzcon but ... panda's?! i know they are in wow-lore but this just doesn't make sense at all...

My question is: Is it a neutral race? Do both factions get to play them? If so, then it makes perfect sense to me. If not, then... well, I'll put my faith in Blizzard for now and hope they work it out somehow.

Neutral race, at the end of their level 1-10 zone you choose a side.

WHAT IS THE PET BATTLING SYSTEM?! Why the FUCK did I have to work today?!

So far in the videos all I've seen are foxes and condors that look like current ones, and some sort of green cat. Not sure if it was the jade gem leopard or a new green skinned tiger or what. It went by too fast.

It's all so amazingly beautiful though. I'm so excited by this

BEAUTIFUL zones. Really gorgeous.
WAY too obviously asian-culture based. I have absolutely nothing against the culture they're basing it on - I really like it, honestly - but it's coming off too strong. That and it looks too cartoony.
And Panderans are too fat to play.

But. Ranting aside. I love, love, LOVE the environments, too-obvious base aside. They could go far with this.

If you mean the cat I think you mean, it looked like a black spotted hunched cat to me that was reflecting the green around it. We might be talking about different cats, though.

Possibly the same cat. It was wandering through grass in a forest area. So you're probably right that it was just reflections. I need to go check out the trailer again

I knew they were going to make pandaren a playable race (finally we can lay THAT one to rest!), I was pretty sure the cap would be 90, and I was also pretty sure they would add the brewmaster / monk class - and while I'd imagined it would go to one faction or the other, this still works; the main thing I wanted to avoid was something that STAYS neutral, can go anywhere, talk to anybody, and generally have the best of everything with none of the inconvenience of hostile guards and such.

Are monks a hero class?

Monks are not a hero class, they start at level 1.

In one of the teaser images for the zones, there's an image of a beautiful crane. Please, Blizzard Gods, please, PLEASE make these tamable. o.o

Im wondering if theres female pandarians... like i mean, what will they look like cause i cant imagine they'd omit them.. it did take them a very long time to reveal female worgen with so much fan and concept art circling around the males (not just in WoW lore either but werewolves in general), im really curious to see females <3333
