Glaine's Leveling Journal
Here I'll be recording important updates while I level Glaine. All the things I earn while leveling which I'm proud of most I'll post here.

I don't see anything wrong at all with females making male characters. I didn't do it myself for several years, but finally I was like, "You know what? I'm gonna make a male DK." So, I did! I ended up not liking DKs much back then, but it at least opened the door, so to speak, into trying new things. I have played a few male characters since then - human, draenei and blood elf. I have a male worgen druid saved up named Desmont (the "s" is silent), as well as a male tauren shaman, a male draenei paladin and a male human DK (figured I'd try them again now that the specs have been re-done a little). There are just some races that I like the male model so much more than the female, tauren and worgen being the two main ones.
Anyway, I like the story for your hunter.
I had to do something similar and take a break, though mine was quite a bit longer. And, like you, I wanted a complete fresh start. New realm, new faction, all that. I don't have BoA's, I had to make my own money, etc. And honestly, I totally enjoy having to start out with nothing again. I am still really tired of end-game stuff, so starting fresh somewhere else where I have nothing is actually really fun for me.
I don't remember your name as Chaoyll, but I do remember you as Kuraine. ^.^ You made a lot of beautiful signatures, if I remember right?

But hey, when I wrote the whole 'women can play male characters if they want to' thing, I had you in mind for a moment there since I knew you were a girl that played a male Blood Elf.
And no, to be honest, the MoP thing didn't bring me back. I'm neutral to it all at the moment. Pandaren are cute, but silly. And some of the new content doesn't appeal to me too much, but no negative comments from my mouth/hands yet, not until I find out more. First impressions are always important, mine wasn't great, but I have to say it is improving.
And to Rhyela: My username was actually Chaoyll before it was Kuraine (Chaoyll/Chao is my internet nickname kinda thing.) and so I made a new account using the name Chaoyll again.

I'm totally in love with MoP - I'm a huge oriental geek (hence my character names!) I'm unsure how the new models will fit in with the old ones - with worgens, goblins and the cata models just, but with the 'vanilla' standard? Me thinks not :S

... I'm going to have to now, aren't I? D: That'll be a while away from now though, so hopefully I'm up for it when I've leveled up!
And Glaine was questing around Darkshore today when he came across these interesting figurines of white tigers, just laying about the dig sites... After picking several of them up, a ghost leopard appeared! It was a vicious yet exciting little creature, so of course he took it within himself to try and tame the creature... And it worked! So here he is at the place he found it... or rather, her. He's named her Celeste.

I think I'll use this thread now to record Glaine's tames. If he tames a new pet, I'll give a picture and a little bit of info.
Now, to make myself a new signature and avatar...

I know right? :3 The males look so much better than the females do... Blizzard did no research when it came to female Worgen, they just threw something together at the last minute it seems. Shame as well since for a year straight before Cataclysm I was so excited to make my female Worgen rogue... But then I saw the model and... Urg...
Hrm. Seems I can't add my own signature yet though. Why is that? D:

Edit: Keep an eye on my signature if you like it. It'll be one of those ones that change slightly now and then, with each pet he gets being added in. And when he gets to level 60 he'll be able to get a PvP set, so his armour/pose will change every now and again as well. Should be fun. :3 And yes, I finally decided on a suitable surname for him.

ye i was gonna make a worgen female warrior. but it was ugly so i gave up that idea

It took me a while to make some parts look right, plus I panicked when I realised that the Ghost Saber model is totally glitched in model viewer. Then I realised I could just take the normal model and turn the opacity down, duuuh. xD

I don't like Tallstriders though. ^^
Also, I have a new idea for my hunter's pets. I'll talk about it tomorrow since it's late here and I wanna go to bed.
