Mantis... something?

Whew. It has been a million-something excited additions.. and some more bummer-qualifying ones (no more melee for hunters has me near-fuming. Goodbye Dark Edge of Insanity.)
I believe some of you that remember me will remember how much of a freak for insectoid pets I was/am, some may even have been near-terrified by it. Assuming that I have an insect-fetish. (:D)
Some of you may also have hallucinated my screams of 'potentional nerdgasm' with the introduction of the 'Mantid' race. You guys were completely correct!
No, but to be serious. You guys have gotten your hands on the Cranes and Tigers already, and I'm not sure if it's been discussed yet (if so, feel free to kick my 'derriëre' for it), but among the screenshots was a little sneak-peak of insects of various color, that seemed more bestial than humanoid, with some of the descriptive traits of a mantis.
It's a small screenshot, I apologise for that.
So.. your thoughts?

ive seen the 'boss' mantis but havent seen these guys.. i bet these would be common mobs in the raid/dungeon (forget which kind of instance the boss is gonna be in)

Was more or less talking about them being beasts version of the sentient and humanoid Mantid race and therefore tamable xD

Yeah more insects would be cool for pets
I absolutely love world of warcrafts insects and there hasn't really been any new ones
I dont really care what these end up as though- minipets, mounts, hunter pets heck I just want more insects

I saw these and was wondering about them... I have no clue. And I dunno why but to me they sort of look like they could be water bugs... like bugs that float on top of the water? I dunno why, maybe their feet. <.<
