So I am thinking about doing the one year commitment thing....the problem is this. I had my account hacked a few years back, so instead of starting over...I bought a new accont. Yes I know its a taboo but i realy wanted to imediatly jump into the lich king content without re leveling. Not to mention it was kinda cool to be surprised by what mounts they had unlocked. Not to mention I got high level bonus characters wit the account. But i am off topic. When I bought the account...they didnt give me the secret question so I could never change the email on the account. So if I buy the one year subscription will the game automaticly send all the goodies (Like the mounts code) to the email on the account or can I change it?

If you do not know the secret question answer, you can not change the email. At the bottom when you are changing the email address, it ask for the answer to the security question.

All the information regarding the account will continue to go to the email address on the account.

When i bought the 1 year offer i didnt get a email with codes for the goodies (if i was to say, buy an online minipet/mount from the blizz store i would of recieved an email with a code to redeem it), so im -guessing- it'll just enter your mailbox when 4.3 is released but im not sure

I know some mounts go to whatever email you want they just give you the code, but thats so you can gift it. So im pretty sure it just automaticly goes to the accounts email

The goodies from the 1 year offer arent gift-able tho, its tied directly to the account

I would just start over (I know you may hate leveling, but...) and go for the 1 year on that. Less trouble, and less chance of being banned. A loophole could be to call Blizz and just say you forgot the secret question since it was so long ago. I have no idea if they require proof of ID or whatnot, since I've never had this issue, but it might work and let you change the email. If I personally were going to buy an account, I would make sure I had complete control and make sure the email was mine before I did it.

If by start over you mean make a new account Im pretty sure they cant do that. "To participate, you must be 18 or older, have a valid credit card, and have registered a full version of World of Warcraft on or before 10.18.2011."

The best option would be to reclaim your old, original account. Unless they've changed it, you WILL need ID to do anything that makes Blizz wonder "is that them", or that's the way it used to work. This is why buying accounts is really bad, even not accounting for the ToS, because the original owner can reclaim it.. and you can't.

Technically, you could still do it. The bonuses will go to the battle.net account. which means the account will get them. If you can access the WoW account, you can access the bonuses, I'd imagine. The only issue would be that there's nothing stopping the person you bought it from saying "oh yay! I bet I can get even MORE from a battle.net account with 1 year paid, a D3 account, the pretty pony, and beta access" and then saying the account go hacked, or otherwise reclaiming it... (but then.. this is an issue with bought accounts ALL the time).

Try Emailing the person you bought it off of and see if they can help.

I've done many of the mounts/pets that are exclusive to an account and they do arrive by ingame mail.

I'd be more concerned about the person you bought the account off wanting it back. Even if you put an authenicator on it, they can still call Blizz up, answer the secret question, and have the authenicator removed, change the password, etc. Then what are you going to do? It's not like you can call Blizz up and say you paid for the account and they took it back.....so, I'd got with the suggestion of getting your old account back (provided it was your account that you set up, know the answer to the secret question, etc). If the original account was another one that had been purchased or was not yours to begin with, you might be better off to start over with your account and make sure the account is truly your account from start to finish.

Just another thought: I have seen purchased accounts get hacked and there isn't a whole lot you can do about it.
