After months of failure....

I FINALLY tamed Kirix. 3 months ago I got to the MF and was seeing Kirix very often, I tried taming even with the method but was always killed with one second of tame left. I eventually gave in.
Only recently did it occur to me to boost my HP, so adding two handy brewfest trinkets I headed up to the MF to wait , now with 130k hp. I logged on the next day to see the familiar red dot running back and forth along the edge of the island. Millions of skeletons littered the ground and a bunch of frustrated hunters were glaring at the huge green lava spider. I ran over to Kirix, my hands were shaking so much I could barely press the keys >_<. I go to the final tame, and it didn't work. My tame didn't go on . My macro failed. I watched in horror as Kirix destroyed my night elf. Much to the amusement of the frustrated hunters.
I wasn't to be beaten yet, this time I would tame him. I hit tame to pull, and waited until I got knocked into the air, disengaged (to my relief) onto flat ground instead of endless sky. Hit deterrence then tame. I crossed my fingers. My hp went down parallel to the tame bar. Then suddenly there was a flash of light and the huge spider shrunk smaller and smaller and was now mine. I've named him Kirix.
