In another thread there was a discussion of a small, beast-like land dragon. I'd love one to be tameable. Something akin to a grounded eastern dragon.
Pandas (no seriously...I've always wanted a panda skin on our bears)
Spirit Beasts! There's so much potential for cool ones to tie in with the theme. Though I don't want a multi-tailed fox myself, I know other people do. I'm just hoping they do something really cool with them either way.

I'd love to see that raptor model that was in the Cata concept art.

Can't think of anything else. Need to look at chinese folklore and see what other cool things might be there. The problem is japanese folklore dominates asian culture that's available here, so it's hard to thing of chinese animals besides dragons and goldfish...

4a form of pheonix, similar to the vanity pet, sure let it be a reskin, that would kick ass to get a little fire bird,
5the gem cats that are just stored, i dont know if you have seen all them, i saw in preview a jade panther was being added in maybe more of the 10+ stored kittens
6a new devilsaur, not make much sense for the chinese theme, but they need some love
7pterrodax (sp)n tameable, they just reskinned bats and we can tame raptors/devilsaurs already why not add them in?
8 the cranes look pretty cool, if i had to guess the black red and white one will be the pandaren starter pet
9 maybe some new form of wolf, they have alot in chinese lore, and infact thats why they have chinese new year, some demonic wolf would be pretty awesome
10 maybe let those char hounds from the boss in firelands be tameable?

I want a Ki-rin A lion-headed, dragon-scaled, goat beast with a horn. No European goat/horse head, fluffy, cuddly cute things I want the real deal! A thing if you see coming at you, you high tail it out of there . Not say aaaaawwww how cute.

Honestly, I'm pretty happy with where pets are at. Aside from adding more Eastern-themed skins/models and cleaning up existing skins, I don't have a whole lot that I'm after.

Possible new families/additions to existing families:
- kodos/clefthooves/something new in MoP that would flesh this family out (with rhinos)
- shoveltusks (they could have an MoP equivalent too, right? different shaped horns...)
- basilisks (they could have a stun; sounds fun)
- cranes (with tallstriders)
- I don't need to actually put hydras, do I?

I'm personally pretty content, but that's probably just because I don't have a whole lot of room to expand either, so most of this won't impact me....unless of course pet family ability options get implemented, in which case, I'll be in trouble due to suddenly having a lot more stable space.

Ooo, I like the idea of dragonflies! And how about crickets? They seem almost mandatory as mini-pets at least.

Apart from stuff people mentioned before me, please let us finally tame the other snake model. The more "to the ground" one.

Hmm maybe an Elephant, Python snake, Rattle snack, Killer Bee's, Some kinda of Mechanical pet that only Eng can make or use.

Jade kitty, Contemplating on taming that cause its not weird like Winna's Kitten No fur, just jade! XD

I'd like to see the new tiger skin and the cranes, possibly. Not holding out for yaks or kodos or horses(I can't really see horses being good 'battle pets', honestly, but that's a different discussion) or anything fancy, I'm(shockingly) content with our pet options as-is. I don't want hydras at all, but I have a feeling that could be considered blasphemy, so I do hope they at least get implemented to quiet the ruckus over them once and for all. I can only think of a world without hydra threads...*dreamy look*
