So, hit 76 on my third hunter a few nights ago and have been running around in the Basin trying to find Loque'nahak. He, like the little black wolf Snarler, is one of my signature pets-I have to get him on each of my hunters. Snarler (or just the plain little black wolf) because that was my main raiding pet for an entire year, and I just don't feel right if I don't have a black wolf in my stable or running alongside me. Loque is also one of my 'sig' pets, as he was the entire reason I got into being a hunter, and a beast master specifically. I saw him here on Petopia when I first joined and was learning the ropes, and he was what made my choice of hunter and BM once I spotted him.

So yeah, I am determined to get him-even if it took me four months to get him on my main, Shade.

So flying around, hunting him yesterday, NPC scan goes off-its him! Can I be that lucky?!


Of course not.

Curing the DK that killed him, I clear my cache and log, planning on coming back in a few hours.

Few hours later I try again...

NPCScan goes off!

I crash into a mountain!

.....and its that dratted bird....

Bah!

Well.. I tame, mostly because I had hunted months for him on my main with no luck finding him, so I might as well have him on Gypsi.

Log off for the night. Wake up at 2 am log in, check, find nothing, scoff at myself for my foolishness and go back to bed. Check again before work, then after work and before playing around on Gypsi with my friend. Log for a bit, work on some art in photoshop, log back in-NPCSCAN BLARES!!

Hallelujah!

*beats head against desk*

Watch him stomp around a bit and just tame him just because... I dont know. Already have him on Shade, and have a white devil on Gyp, don't need two but... *shrug*

Trade you pets? /cry

2 years of wanting Krush and I haven't even SEEN him. Got Loque the first time I looked (although this was very late in WOTLK and during non-peak hours, so it might have had something to do with it). I also tamed Aotona a few months ago, after 2 years. =(

I wish we could trade pets! I just want Loque. HE keeps hiding from me though

I think the cats are scared of Gypsi-I cheched on Gondria, and she was not up either. /sigh

*passes bottle of luck* was gonna keep that for my baby hunter to try to find that cat, but i think you need it more

Aww, don't worry, you'll get him! And it'll be even better because you had to work so hard. Loque is still my most memorable camp and one of my favorite pets.

^Mayday, who went off into the forest in the sky. Couldn't stand his flight animation in the long run and I don't want to get rid of my Olm or undead eagle on Gypsi, so I lacked the room for him.


^Krush-who needs a name. Shade's is named Gojira. This one might just become Jira.

I'll have to go take some better shots. Its been awhile since I've taken shots of Gypsi's stables-or Shade's for that matter.

And, I jumped on at 4 am this morning, looked, went to get a drink and went back to bed, finding nothing.

Jumped on.. around 8 I think this morning, flew around and almost missed seeing a flashing red screen I was so sleepy (and I had the volume off so NPCScan and just turning on the computer wouldn't wake the household).


YAY!



Gotta think of a good name for Gypsi's Loquenahak.

I've never even seen Krush in the wild. I saw him once in org as someone's pet months ago and that's it. I love my Black Devilsaur, Vixen, and can't imagine ever replacing her for Krush but I'd like to tame him and see if I click with him. Sadly, he is eluding me!

I tamed King Mosh (orange Devilsaur) and really clicked with him almost instantly. His model may not be as "unique" as the other devilsaurs, but I think he looks so neat. I still want to try out Krush if I happen upon him, but I think Lucius (King Mosh's name now) will be my token devilsaur from now on.
