Pet Abandon Macro still works?

I am starting a new server and decided to roll a brand new hunter again, I remember lurking on this site all the time on my first hunter and so I figured it is about time I made an account and join in. Anyway, I used to use the Pet abandon macro a lot and I was wondering if anyone knows if it is still currently working.
