Even though I adore my white bear, White Lady, and the other bears in game, I never was really into Arcturis from seeing him around by other hunter's sides. But last night while flying over his spawning site I see he's up so I go check him out. I've seen him in the wild before and always passed him up but this time for some reason I got the urge to tame him. I figured what the hell and tamed him fully expecting to release him within a few minutes.

To my surprise I absolutely adore him!! I love his color and I don't even mind how transparent he is. I love how in so many of his idle animations he seems to look up to you and constantly be checking in with you. This handsome guy will definitely be hanging around with me for a while. I'm not really sure what to name him, I'm bouncing a few around but I'm sure I'll settle on one soon! I thought I was completely done with my stable but this past week I've come across so many pets that I just had to have so I've had to do some adjusting. I guess Arcturis was another one! I took some screenshots of my big adorable lug:

He is adorable! I have mine called Kermode.! That was my first spirit beast. But i dont use him much. But sometimes!. He is a pretty awesome spirit! <33

Congrats! Its interesting how we sometimes feel our stables are perfect, but someone still makes their way into them

He was my first spirit beast too. Got him at 74, and pretty lucky too considering I almost didn't look and a dungeon queue popped when I was taming him

I settled on Bacchus after the Roman god of wine! Because wine is good and so are bears!

Grats! I never liked Arcturis, but its always nice to see someone who loves him finally get him! He is a pain to get what with only having one spawn area.

Very nice! I found that I just need to trust my random "TAME THIS NAO" urges, because I always end up adoring the pet, even if it's one I previously hated.

This is how I felt with Terrorspinner. His model is common, but I just had a "TAME THIS PET!!!!" feeling. So I did, and I fell in love with his boney legs and the little webs between each leg...he's now the spider thats always in my pet call list. He's cuter than Deth'tilac or Solix or any of the lava spiders (sorry, Kirix)!

I loove my bone spider on my baby Worgen hunter. She's hands down my favorite pet for that toon. I've been debating keeping one lava spider instead of two on my main hunter and taming a bone spider but I'm still thinking about it. I'm not even a spider person really but the WoW spiders are all so gorgeous and detailed it's hard not to love them. In fact, at first I thought I was going to be into all the "mammal" pets but I'm finding I love the weirder more fantasy type pets like my Chimera, Spikey Wind Serpent, Netherstalkers, etc. I still have my favorite furred pets but the others are just so cool as well.

He looks awesome in your screen shots, especially the first one! I feel the same way about his idle emotes, I thought he was checking up on me too lol. xD

Or you could look at it like he's super easy to camp lol!

I remember when I first started playing wow and was helping a friend camp for this guy for hours. It was so fun because we'd duel, BS in vent, and kill the alliance who tried to camp him ! My friend didn't get him that time but eventually he did. It's one of my fun WoW memories and now I have an Arcturis of my own years later!
