Talbuk Reins?

Anyone know if reins have been given back to the Talbuks on the PTR? Anyone know why they were removed in the first place? 
(If you didn't know, In TBC they had actual reins that your character held onto, and somewhere in WotLK, I think, they mysteriously disappeared.)
