Aeonaxx: had a feeling it would spawn

I've been camping Aeonaxx for about a month. Found 5 Blood Seekers during that time and saw another known camper on the mount about two weeks in, so I knew I was on the right track, but I just couldn't seem to be on at the right time to get it myself.
Yesterday I just had a feeling that it would spawn. I had the same feeling the day I got TLPD. So I sat all day in Deepholm even when I wasn't able to be near the computer, then came back and checked my logs for both Aeonaxx and Blood Seeker. Nada. But at least there were only a two other regular campers that I saw and they weren't as aggressive as usual (normally one or the other would sit right on me, forcing me to move) and didn't stick around for long.
Before I went to bed I asked my spouse if he wasn't busy, could he log on and keep camping for me until he went to sleep? It was the first time I asked him to help on this but I wanted to stay out there as long as possible. He said he'd try but he didn't know how long he'd stay on.
So then I logged on this morning to find myself hovering where I had logged off... mounted on the phosphorescent stone drake! He told me it had spawned about 30 min after I had logged off, and that I had been so precise in my choice of camp spots that he was able to mount it without having to move (it was just south of Stonecore entrance, slightly below it in elevation). So I guess the gut feeling was right.
