That is one cute little fella! <3
A rare one at that. How old is he, and how did you know he was male (unless he had very obvious balls)?

Lol, at least you don't have to worry about castration.
As for names.. Nobuo (pronounced without the o in most cases)?

Hes young enough where it was sorta to young to tell but the owner has been raising kittens for years now that he was able to tell a difference.
He had a obvious bump where female parts would be.

(females wont have a bump, and I had a side by side comparison)

Yeah. The distance between the openings on a female is much shorter, that on a male aswell, in addition to the bumps below that only two of them had. That's how I was able to tell the gender of the litter here

Heh Max is a nice name like it could be short for maximillion. That would fit I mean male tortoiseshells are rare n all. Well tortoiseshell-and-white's are atleast. Heh I don't know anyone here who calls them calico well here anyway.

Where i am, calico is a cat thats mostly white with orange and dark brown/black markings as that one is up there and a tortiseshell is the opposite, black with orange and darkbrown/black markings, least, thats what everyone ive ever met calls them, i dont know scientifically if its just a name difference instead of a breed difference, either way Max is an adorable name <3 Moar pictures!
