Hello fellow petopians.

I just had a brainstorm of an idea and I want to know what you think. I know we already have ALOT of cat SB: Gondria, Ankha, Magria, and Loque'nahak. I feel we are missing one cat that should be made into a spirit beast or a likeness of one. Imagine this:

In the forests of Mt. Hyjal, a lone hunter prowls but not alone. Hidden in the shroud of its misty visage and not far from her side is the king of all kings, a lion spirit beast!

I mean what would you say to having a lion spirit beast in the likeness of Humar/Pitch? The same shadowform the priests have but in lion form, or a spirit beast in the likeness of Echeyakee, pure white with misty dancing at its feet and mane when he/she shakes it? I would Sambas would not be my ideal lion, he is cool but he isn't the one that draws me like the original lions. So, what would you want for a spirit beast lion?

That'd be cool, but I would love to have have a spirit raptor The cats in general are too plentiful, and even a maned cat is a cat. I'd also love to have more corporeal spirit beasts such as Skoll or Loque... but no more cats or wolves :b heh. I like the spriest-look idea.

I'd love for a Lion Spirit beast with a roar similar to Loque's.

Granted....I want this more.

That's Spiritbinder's work, actually. Definitely the highlight of the SB pieces.

I'm not too picky about future SB forms myself, but I will say that I don't want to see any more SBs in Mount Hyjal.

A lion would make a beautiful spirit beast

However I would rather we got away from cats for a bit... we have an awful lot of cat spirit beasts already so it's good to explore other options. SB's raptor, above, is nothing short of amazing, however I think his spirit tallstrider was even more so

I still have all of my wishes leaning towards reptiles though since we have a definitive lack of them in the Spirit Beast category. With Ban'thalos we have a bird now, so I'd love to see a crocodile, devilsaur, raptor, warp stalker, or serpent, or maybe even something similar to an Asian dragon for our next one. ^_^ Normally I'd throw a spider wish in there too, but I feel satiated from our Molten Front friends.

That tallstrider is amazing. I also think that would be the closest we would ever get to a phoenix pet.
The raptor is beautiful aswell. I love raptors. Wonder why I don't use them more often :/

OT. As much as I think we have had a fair "suck of the kitty sauce bottle" I'll admit I think an lion Spirit Beast or even a Lynx one could look very very cool.

Personally I'm hoping for a reptilian one this time too (I'd <3 a Spirit Beast windserpent )

If I can talk about the original topic (OH GOD!), I would love a lion spirit beast... but not in Hyjal. Oh God, not in Hyjal! Hyjal has *three* spirit beasts.

Instead, put it in one of the other 'spiritually active' places in the game. Maybe at one of the Emerald Portals. There's four of them! And other zones have all sorts of lore inherent that could attract spirit beasts of all sorts.

Hmmm. Spirit Beast in Uldum, in the revived oasis!
