In the new heroic, End Time. Boss Tyrande... the nightsabers ARE tamable. If you look at the cat page, they are the "upcoming" skins. I tamed it just putting an icetrap under my feet. These mobs WILL despawn once the boss is killed.

Welcome to the forums~ Unfortunately your quite a bit late on it (understandable if you dont stalk forums or play the PTR), its been known and able to be solo tamed since that installment of the PTR was implimented (the shiny hunched white tigers and snow leapords), you can keep resetting the instance till you see you've entered with the Emerald Dragonshrine being the first encounter and you can slip on through to find them prowling around

I used to stalk, hehe.. but that was back in wrath. sad. Gosh, thanks for telling me how to sneak in and get one though, I didnt think of that. I was going to keep queuing until I got lucky.
