My first wolf drawing..

I got some new pastels and tried them out on drawing a wolf for the first time. What do yea think?

thats pretty good, though it reminds me more of a racoon due to its markings/eye shading.
Either way it is very beautiful! I really love how you did the eyes.

I actually saw a god with those markings before so I just had to do it since it was rare to see.

It looks really nice!
though it does resemble a raccoon dog more to me, though its still really nice

Aside from what it visually resembles i think its an amazing piece of artwork, theres no definite outline with a solid line apart from the eyes, muzzle, nose, and mouth and i love that you went with a reddish color, red wolves are one my my most favorites outta all the species, i even for the longest time had plans that if i was to open an art printing shop for clothing (print designs in-store on clothing to sell in the store and customs for customers who come in), it would be called Red Wolf Clothing Art, i never was able to make a logo i truly liked tho
