Well i let me dogs in from outside so they could go to the restroom, my one dog Chisum came in and winter did not i called and she finally came in.... Covered in blood limping. I started crying trying to figure out what happened. She cut the back of her leg where her dew claws were removed. Got her to the vet, our house in covered in blood as is my car ( i dont care though) and they got pressure on her.

She puntured her artery completley and right now she is staying over night at the vet becuase they had to give her a shot to calm her down so they could tie it. They arehopeing her tendon is untouched but that is one of their main concerns right now becuase if it is damaged it will take a very long to heal and can do permanent damge.

The vet just called and said she is doing fine, stressd but the meds are kicking in and she is calming down. They will try to check the tendon tonight but with all the blood and not wanting to completley put her out tonight they might not be able to so they will in the orning and stitch her up.

Will keep this updated, just gotta get it offf my chest since im so scared

As an update, she is home now it cost 642 dollers for everything, she is on meds and will have a cast/bandage on for a while. She lost alot of blood os has to be on some multi vitamins but other then the limping she is doing very well just super tired

thank you all she is doing really good, she is starting to walk a little on her leg but still limps most of the time. finally got to sleep last night and i think we all slept like the dead lol
