I'm looking for mail hoods, preferably darker in color. Most of the ones I know off the top of my head are leather.

There's this one, I wish it didn't have the gold trim so it could match with more items, but it's pretty much the best we have.

Veph hit the nail on the head with the hateful set. The other two from that season were deadly (red: http://www.wowhead.com/item=41156) and furious (green: http://www.wowhead.com/item=41157).

There aren't any other full head-hoods that I can think of with the above, but there are coifs and cowls. Would they maybe work?

It's not dark in shade, and the green may well not match much, but the Fel Iron Chain Coif is a good hood as well as a mask.

Some really great ones! Thanks all! I'm looking for something kind of 'dark and shadowy' that's also mail to go with some darker colored gear.

The problem is that it likely doesn't exist. :/ Hunters and shammies don't get hoods usually, so we don't have a whole lot to work with.

Yeah, I've noticed.

It's sometimes frustrating to find some really neat looking armor.....only for it to be leather or cloth.

It's sorta a hood, but more of a mask. It's the one I'm farming atm.
