I wish we had the youtube tags here so we could just embed the videos, but anyhow...
From Yesterday-30 Seconds to Mars
30 Seconds to Mars have a lot of really fantastic music videos and I don't want to link them all, but this one stands out as both a beautiful story and video.
I Write Sins Not Tragedies-Panic At The Disco
Again, Panic's another band that has a lot of really good videos, but this is the first video that I saw of theirs and it's memorable. I love their steampunk style.
Mr. Brightside-The Killers
It took me a long time to learn to appreciate the killers, and I love the eccentric styling of this video.
Welcome to the Black Parade-My Chemical Romance
It's hard to go wrong with anything from the Black Parade MCR album--it's hauntingly beautiful--and this video from the album title is fabulous. My personal favorite songs from the album are a tie between "Famous Last Words" and "Mama."
Breaking the Habit-Linkin Park and
Somewhere I Belong-Linkin Park
Two videos from the same album by Linkin Park; both songs touched with me on a personal level (while I was only 9 when these videos came out, I struggled most of my childhood--especially my teenage years--figuring out who I was). I realize now that "Breaking the Habit" sounds as if it would be related to drug or alcohol abuse, but for me it was about trying to build myself up into this person that my parents wanted me to be, but who I wasn't really on the inside. It wasn't okay for me to be weird, and different, and introverted and it tore me up inside and I used to lash out at people.
Decode-Paramore
While I despise Twilight, this song, and even the video, are actually rather pretty. I'm so jealous of Hayley Williams' hair and skin color. XD
Sexy and I Know It--LMFAO
I should mention a maturity warning for this video--there's no nudity, but the guys do run around wearing speedos and shaking their junk.
I *love* this video. Why? Because most guys absolutely hate it. XD It's a completely fun, totally wacky music video, directed by Ron Jeremy no less, and it's just awesome. I sing and dance to this song a lot.
Last Friday Night (T.G.I.F)-Katy Perry
Another video that's just full of great fun and entertainment. Can't beat Rebecca Black actually looking cool. XD
Indestructible-Disturbed
After this album from Disturbed came out, this became my sort of "power" song for staying strong and not giving a crap about what my parents thought of me. I am who I am and I refuse to change that for anyone. Plus, the video's pretty kickass.
Paralyzer--Finger Eleven
Fantastic song and video. The choreography is stunning. My boyfriend absolutely loves this song--he didn't stop listening to it for a while after I showed it to him.
F'in Perfect-P!nk
Fair warning: This video is a little disturbing as you watch the story it tells, and there is a cutting scene.
This video actually made me cry and it's another song I can relate to really well. "Sober" is another good one by Pink.
I'll stop there since that's quite a few and I have to start getting ready for work.
