I was standing in the Darkmoon Faire grounds, relaying three different conversations between my brother, my sister and my best friend while my mom was on my cell phone complaining about what we were going to have for dinner. I was feeling a bit hassled and turned my toon around.

This was not at all posed, I spotted them like this...then I parked Midas in place so I could back up a little to get screenshots.

Now, my spotted kitty, Midas, is nothing really special, but I used him once on Gypsi and ended up loving him enough that he is a permanent cat on my main hunter Shade. I thought the Darkmoon Cub would be a perfect match for him and it looks like I was right!!

I went to the Molten Front to check on Skarr for a friend who didn't have him yet. So I went around the corner and Deth was up. Now she seems to be out more often then not these days so I wasn't that surprised to have found her. I've tried taming her three times and failed-twice with people in the area killing her and once with her getting just a hair to close when the tame was about to go off. So I'd kinda given up on her.

But she was there, staring at me and taunting me with her little skittering in place, so I decided to say screw it and try again. I abandoned Midas (Sorry baby!) to get a throw away spider and gave it a go.

A few times I thought I was going to mess up for sure or die-and she started getting rooted in place randomly-some player helping me with the tame? Never saw another person in the area strangely-they must have been phased or hiding around a corner so I couldn't see them?-but I got my Deth in the end!!!

Named her Eurydice, as it seemed a fitting name for her given the tale of the tame and my personal history with past attempts. Was shaking the entire time-and pulled a yellow spider halfway through, but that person using root to hold her in place really helped and I managed to get her. Now I just wish I could find the person who helped out-without being asked-I'd send them a Guardian Cub or something else as a thank you gift. I did shout out a thanks but never got a response back.

And of course as soon as I got done shaking I went and dismissed my little green magma spider Gizmo (who was not Kirix), and went back to the basin to pick Midas back up-he was properly thankful, as he is a bit frightened of all the rhinos out there.
