While undeniably cute, I've recently also discovered he has a yawn - which is about 75% as annoying in its own way as the infamous "slobber yawn" emitted by the full grown version.

So I did some testing and discovered that it can be muted in the same basic way as for regular tigers.

Create an empty file with notepad, and save it with the following name, extension and location:

...\Data\Sound\Creature\TigerCub\PET_TigerCub_Yawn.ogg

Presto - the noisy little pest no longer torments you at the auction house!

I've noticed the new yawn as well, and I agree it's a bit annoying. It just sounds...odd to me, I'm not entirely fond of it. I won't mute it myself, but I can definitely see reason to.

Thank you for posting this! As soon as I started hearing it I wanted to mute it but couldn't figure out the name of the file to replace.

I tried this but it looks like it won't work since the new changes, or else i have no idea how to do it .

Isn't modifying game files against the agreement?

its not changing the files for the whole game but rather just yourself. everyone who hasnt changed it will still hear the noises. many people have posted that they've done it and havent been banned (im sure theres others then just noah that stalks once in a while)
