The Christmas Present Thread!

Since today is Christmas Day and everyone, I hope, is having a very merry Christmas, I wanna know what wonderful gifts you all got given!

Post here with pictures if you want too! And maybe even tell us what you got for other people too. :3

My mother this year was really kind to me and let me have both Skyrim and the collector's edition of AC: Revelations a month early! ♥ And today I got given a lovely set with a hot water bottle, mug and hot chocolate powder, a bath pillow, some animal print socks, a Pandora charm for my bracelet, a winter hat, gloves, some PJs and an *adorable* little ball point pen that I'm in love with! xD My mum's boyfriend bought me Skylanders and the WotLK Atlas! :3 And my adorable little sister got me the blu-ray set of Frozen Planet, that series is amazing. :3 I'm also due to get a bag in the mail soon from my dad - It's got Fluttershy on it! He bought me it off welovefine.com, it's this one! :3

Since I haven't seen my other relatives yet I haven't received anything off them or given them their presents, but we're all going to see each other for Christmas dinner in a couple of hours!

I hope all of you on Petopia have a wonderful Christmas, and even if you don't celebrate Christmas, I still wish you a wonderful day today and to have a brilliant new year!

I got two Rainbow Dash shirts, a Wii, Mario Party, lots of stuff for my doggie, some winter wear, chocolates, flashlight, etc.

Eeh, Christmas presents

I got the white Ed Hardy perfume from my bf, various gift cards from most of my relatives, some make up bronzing kit (I lol'ed when I opened it), money and some Avril Lavigne Wild Rose perfume/shower gel/body lotion set, and my favourite candy, marianne classic candy. I've had a pretty good christmas. I haven't gotten one thing I cannot use/won't use this year.

I got my bf the dark blue Ed Hardy perfume, Dark Souls limited edition and Skyrim. I think I surprised him, I don't think he expected that much. I love giving presents.

Same! Reminds me of last year when my uncle bought my mum a nice handbag... But it *stunk* of cigarettes, it was gross. :S I don't think she ever used it...
Also reminds me of when my uncle got me the kiddy High School Musical book instead of the High School Host Club manga I asked for a couple years ago. -.- ... What kinda 16 year old girl is gunna wanna read a HSM book meant for like five year olds, for goodness sake. xD It's the thought that counts though, I suppose!

I love giving presents too! This year was the first year I got my mum a proper Christmas stocking too, she was so pleased. :3

I gave my mum a hand painted picture of the river we live in :3 It took forever to get the coloring right on the trees -_-
But, I got a full acrylic set, easel, Pallete, and a sketching set from my mum, a few personal things from my aunt, and two plushies from my aunt (Stingray, and Snowleapord, my two favorite animals). But, I'll also be donating about 3/4s of the assorted things I have to two little girls in the next state over. Their house burned down, and I figure it's the best thing I can do.

Not much this year, but I love it all. First, a replacement copy of Zelda: Skyward Sword, as my Wii ate the other. I also got a new winter coat, a really soft pair of pajamas (I had none left >.>), a neat wolf-themed watch, and a really cool cuff that looks kind of egyptian.

I got some Penguin slippers, Band hero for the DS lite (gives me a reason to use it again

As I have a DSi too, also.. only done one song sofar.. but I'm actually impressed with the game, seems pretty awesome), lion king, cat in the hat, few other little things.. And $50 for "a game cause [my mom] didn't know what I wanted" ... And I just found out SC2 is on sale for $35 for boxing week at EB

So I'm TOTALLY gonna get that once my ankle is better, and then maybe some ebooks with the left over money.

I got a $50,000 mortgage to pay for our house expansion this coming Spring.

And I got to spend a wonderful evening with my husband and my family (mother, brother, sister, and their kids) last night, which is traditional for us. We don't celebrate Christmas on the 25th. It's traditional for us to do it on the eve. Great late dinner (again, totally traditional dishes for us.. recipes that go back 450 years). And best of all, the drive home afterward... an hour and a half with hubby in the car, chatting about MMOs.

Other than that, no gifts (unless the Gaudy Sweater in the gift from Winterveil counts?).

Well I got my main Xmas present 2 months ago Toonboom Harmony a "working" presnet as it's a animation program. So now I'm my own studio. $1000 US for a student price

I can't ask for much more. I allso got the Beastman Warhammer fantasy army book and 2 lego minifigures. Oh and rest of the family gave me money so that will go to models I'll get from the internet.

Oh and drugs allso got them too and pain too those are pressies from my surgery XD

Xmas day was good we spent the day with my dads side of the family I sat in the corner eating Pavlova XD Can't do much with broke ribs and sadly can't follow the family tradistion of getting really drunk. Meds and booze don't mix.

Still it was nice and we are having mums side over today.

It's nice to hear about people's different Christmases! Hope you've all had a great day. :3 (9 PM here in the UK now.)

I spent a lovely day at my grandparent's house, had Christmas dinner and shared gifts. I got the Lion King Trilogy on DVD and the Tintin cartoons, I loved them as a kid. :3 Also got a book and some bits and pieces of jewellry. (Cheap but nice jewellry mind you! xD) I also got to steal my grandad's new shirt because he didn't like it/it didn't fit him. xD!

Quiet holiday this year. Had meals with both of our families (fruit salad with pomegranates was wonderful!) and a surprise visit from old family friends.

Gave and received books, including gift cards I can use to buy ebooks. Gave and received warm clothes. Gave and received homemade goodies.

Also got a Cthulhu plushie and a Hexbug robot!

I got an mp3 player from my aunt and uncle. I've been wanting one since something keeps chewing up my cds but didn't say anything since the ones I've see are $100+.
It's smaller then my phone and I'm not quite sure how to transfer songs from my cds but I'll figure it out eventually.
It will be nice not having to carry my beat up old cd player around, which in turn means I wont need my 11 year old, falling apart vest. This also gives me a little more time to make that sleeveless, hooded trench coat I've been working on to replace my vest

As for giving gifts. I helped my mom get the bronze drake, made some ornaments for family, and at some point I have a pic to finish for a friend...

I got the Hetalia anime movie, itunes gift card, bloat the bubblefish loot card, and a holiday with no major dissastors! A new record for my family lol ...also an america plushi from the hetalia anime...sooooooooooooo cute.
As for giving I pretty much got everyone something form home goods...that store is my cryptonite. Hope you guys r having a good xmass

A mini shopping spree for some clothes
A crystal necklace shaped like a fish (I love it!)
A big set of Prismacolor pencil crayons + some sketching tools
An antique box for my box collection
A ton of baked goodies!
And boyfriend got a RAF account to give me the 2 seater rocket mount. :3

I still haven't seen my Father, Aunt/Uncle, Cousins and Grandparents yet though, so perhaps more will come~

I got GC's for: Resuarant, Starbucks, Liquor store, and $150 worth of future shop ones.
I got a ton of new pokemon cards
Some bath stuff
New PJ's
A wooden fish 3D puzzle
A japanese paper lamp
A pentant in the shape of a heart key, with my daughters birthstone (diamond)

In a bit we will be headed out to go shopping. With my Future shop GC's I plan on getting an Art tablet so I can draw things digitally (right now its paper, ink, scan, email, then get email from computer with art program...so, slow reluctant uploads)

This Christmas was more for the kids (my 19mnth old daughter and her 26th month old cousin) And santa spoiled them rotten, along with grandparents, and relatives. theit uncle bought them a Dora the explorer electric Quad!! So, they were sitting on that and driving around the house (haha, my daughter caught on how to use it faster

)

I got a $25 gift card to Chili's, $20 in cash, a Nook Simple Touch, a $50 Barnes & Noble gift card to facilitate the use of said Nook, a jacket that is way too small for me, some cheap bubble bath, a couple tasty cocktails, some lucky egg finds over at Dragon Cave, and the same ridiculous quantity of candy I've gotten every year for the past two decades of my life. It was a pretty good Christmas.
