Release and recapture for the rush

Am I the only one who will release a rare, and then go camp it again? Before I am given the name of a local loony bin, let me explain.
I know I am in good company when I admit that I am a raging altoholic/petaholic. I even have a lot of hunter alts at various levels for various story reasons. I only have 2 hunters that are 85, one of which is my main toon altogether.
I love the hunt and the camp for rares. However, I have everything now that I want on my main, and almost there on my alt. I have, at one point or another, tamed or seen up every BC/Wrath/Cata rare pet in the game (including all 5 Madexx's). I get kinda bored now knowing theres nothing out there yet waiting on me. My alt's stable fills up pretty fast with other stuff so I can't fully recreate the hunt/camp.
And I have done the achievements to kill all the BC and Northrend rares, and considering doing the same for the Cata nonpet rares (like Blazewing etc). However, I like thrill of the tame.
So I release a pet (excluding the bronze Madexx, thats WAY to RNGy), then go camp it again
. In my mind, it is like I am playing a game with my friend. They go out in the wild, and I will see if I can find them. Kinda silly. Am I the only one?
