Fashion assistance needed - Mistshroud Set 95% complete

I've completed the set for my male NE hunter except for the gloves.

I started out with leftover epaulets of the devourer from wotlk; as I prefer something more individualized and didn't want to shell out a ton of JPs just for looks, I picked up veteran's linked boots and belt, and then filled in the gaps with some mistshroud armor.

A basic cata chain helm and an emberhawk crossbow completed the look.

As above though, I'm not thrilled with the gloves.

Currently I'm using Myrmidon's Gauntlets as a "best fit"; I like their contours, and their coloring at least vaguely goes with the other pieces, but I'd really prefer something:

1) Chunky - with same basic contours as the myrmidon's gauntlets, or giant stalker gloves, or etc - e.g. not the basic gauntlet that stops midway up the forearm.

2) Colors - ideally something with some combination of blue and gold... or if someone spots something better, that's cool too!

EDIT: Added a shot without the emberhawk crossbow blocking things...

Very nice look! I can't suggest any "chunky gloves" since I avoid that look on most of my hunters. They're short; it looks funny. I have part of the the Mistshroud set on my dwarf (pants. gloves and chest) I made her the Flamescale boots and belt to fill the set out. Just thought I would mention the Flamescale stuff, since its almost an exact match for the Mistshroud and waaaay easier to get if the Aldors like you. It might go better than the Veteran's stuff, though that does match the color palette

Thanks Teigan. I like the colors and patterns on the mistshroud gloves, but they're not the "chunky" shape I'm looking for - in my case, the shoulders are almost outlandishly huge, so I want something correspondingly larger for the gloves.

Flamescale is nice looking chainmail - I like your idea of combining it with mistshroud. :)
