Green / Purple Hunter Set - Lenore

Lenore was inspired by the departed love interest in Edgar Allen Poe's "The Raven". In her RP backdrop she is a vaguely menacing figure with an affinity for taming various nasty creatures, so I wanted a set that would fit this without being overtly demonic (I didn't want anyone to mistake her for a warlock!).
I'd bought her the heirloom bow, but somehow it didn't seem to fit the bill. Then one day while running dailies on my frost DK, I looted Valanos' Longbow, and the seed of an idea was planted - this would be the centerpiece of Lenore's transmog set.
As my DK was also a blacksmith I crafted a Fel Iron Chain Tunic, and combined that with a couple leftover quest items (Gloves of Marshmanship and Hearty Cenarion Cincture).
I found several more on the AH for cheap (Unyielding Spaulders, Soldier's Leggings, Jazeraint Boots), and bought an Ethereum Phase-Spear from an NPC vendor, but something more was needed.
Although the mail chest had the nice overlapping green plating I wanted, it was also rather skimpy, so I ran BRD until Master Builder's Shirt dropped - it took a while but as it was the only shirt in the right color, it was worth it.
The final touch was the Purple Trophy Tabard of the Illidari; an obscure quest reward from SMV, this really tied it all together for me.
