When i go in and select e.g 2handed axe i can no longer sort by a specific color which i would want the axe to be e.g. yellow and red. Are there any other sites which allowes me to do so? (and i know wowhead have the comparision thingie, but thats way to complicated for me :) )

Wowhead underwent maintenance work and was closed for quite a few hours about a day ago. When it first came back up it was very buggy and lot of things were missing. Over the past day features have slowly crept back in, but even now there are some errors. Hopefully the sort by colour feature is just temporarily missing too.

Hmm. Never noticed that before... it's up now, but doesn't seem to be working at least for me - I set it to red, and got all kinds of stuff not even vaguely red (blue stuff, white stuff, etc etc). So I assume they're still working on assigning a primary color index to a lot of the stuff in their database...

Too bad, because it's really hard sometimes to find the right look for lower level toons...

That could be because it's as dodgy as Mogit's version is. It seems like if the item has even a tiny speck of red that is close to your selection, even if the rest of the item is bright green, it gives it higher priority than another item that is red all over but a shade different. That's how it seems to work for me anyway.
