I just did my first sunken temple run, and i am HAPPY!
We all said hey, gave some pointers, then started. It was going nornal till we got to the room of trolls before you take the dragons, then all hell broke loose.
The tank pulled a few to many, but we'd make it, then Twolf was feared...
it pulled the WHOLE ROOM.
Needless to say we wiped. As we were rezzing i said sorry, and i wouldn't rez Twolf for a while, and you know what they said? Thanks!
Apperently, none of them had had a good fight in a while, and then we all complomented each other till we finned the dungeon.
And on top of that, we dropped 2 purples, 5 greens, and 18 blues.
I know it dosn't sound THAT good but i am REAL PLEASED!
Anyone else wanna share a great group story?

A good group thread is a great idea!

This happened to me recently. I was playing on my new Shammy, and since it's the first time I'm tried to seriously play one, I was still figuring everything out. I use the LFG and get into a RFC group; Bear tank, Druid heals, me, another Shammy, and a Pally as DPS. We start going in, and the healer informs us that it's only his second time healing, so if something happens, he's sorry in advance. We're all cool with it. I have all the quests for the place, so I ask if we can do a full clear, and everyone is fine with that too. Basically, we all start just talking around then, a nice chatty group. We keep going.
Not too far in, we pull a bit to many at once, and healer goes OOM. Somehow, we make it out of the encounter alive. The healer says thanks to whoever picked up healing the tank. Other Shammy says your welcome, we keep going. Another big pull later, healer is having trouble keeping up, so I toss out a couple heals, remembering that I have them thanks to what the other Shammy just did. Keep going, another big pull, this time the Pally helps heal.
That's when it hits us. We have a full group of healers! We all have a good laugh, finish off the last of the bosses, and bid each other farewell.

I had lotsa fun in that one. ^-^

Since I got into the "OMG I'M SO CLOSE TO 80" crunch on my kitty druid, I've been chain running randoms - dungeons to ding and heroics after. All in all, I can only think of two bad moments. Everything else has been fantastic! I've been lucky with both groups and drops! xD

I was just reading the whole "random acts of uberness" thing on wow.com and cursed myself for not remembering the most fantastic people I ran into. Ah well...

Did UK with Deteriorate. Anyhow, last boss doesn't drop that axe, so I say into /p "No axe :(".

The healer insists to requeue with me until I get it. Three dungeons without queuetime later and I get my axe. It renewed my love for shammies.

My favorite groups are the ones who laugh off most things, and shrug off everything else. One of my favorite moments was in some random, and I'd managed to die. We'd been having a good time, and I politely go "Can some one revive me?"

Followed by the death knight casting Raise Ghoul on me. I laughed and said "Not quite what I meant, but it's the thought that counts!"

Not quite a 5-man, but we'd just finished the first wing of ICC25 in a half-decent pug. (Let's put it this way, we had 6 or 7 ranged and still one-shot Saurfang.) Now this run had the typical(for my server at least) 1 main spec win per run rule, so after the tokens were handed out, several of the people who had won items so far bailed, then a bunch of other people bailed too(though to be fair, it was kinda late) leaving us with 5 healers, 2 tanks, and 8 DPS. Well, with that group we went down to the green dragon trash event for the free frost badge, and cleared it without a wipe! (Though we did have a couple deaths.) So yay for 15-manning, even if it was just "trash" and a miniboss at the end.
