So the last few days it was building a set around the shoulders of lightning reflexes, which I can't get...

So today it was building a set around the Nesingwary 4000 and the lightning-charged spectacles.. I spent the evening farming mats to craft the gun, and went to check on the goggles... and... I can't make them. Shammy only. Trainer won't give the pattern.

I can't find lightning charged spectacles. These are goggles for shammies only?

I think it might be these? http://www.wowhead.com/item=34355 Lightning Etched Specs. They're a lovely golden with yellow lenses.

These have a similar look: http://www.wowhead.com/item=42551#modelviewer -- golden with blue lenses. I'm fairly certain I recall wearing them... so they are available to hunters. Might that work for you Slick?

In my frustration I mixed up the names...

The goggles that I wanted, are Energized Bio-Optic Killshades http://www.wowhead.com/item=59458

They are the only ones I see that have that deep blue, and they only show on the eng trainer to shammys. The hunter version has the rich green.

Yeah, I think I can make those, but they don't work with the blue gear, as the lens is more of a cyan color.

Since there are plenty of goldish goggles with light-blue/cyan lenses, guess I need to build a set around those.

I just feel really stupid for not checking first to see if I could craft those, especially given my ill-fated venture with the Shoulders of Lighting Reflexes... sigh...

You're welcome Slick. I'm sorry though--I know I responded in your other thread but I didn't put two and two together, so I thought you were talking about the golden goggles. I can see a nice set built around the bronze and blue though!

Galaxy, I think those goggles might actually work very well with the Nesingwary gun. They're not the same shade but the purple in the goggles picks up on the shading in the gun. Well, at least it looks like that in the wowhead viewer, might change once other gear is chosen. *shrug*
