So as some of you know I am on the MLG team for Call of Duty MW3. In July we go to Disneyland to compete aganst other teams around the world. So while we do have sponsers we still need to raise some money. One of the ideas I had was the military movie "Act of Valor" has a midnight release this week. So what I plan on doing is going there in Juggernaut armor and take pictures with people, and collect donations for the group, and sell these mini foam riot sheilds with our clan name on it that one of the guys makes. Well one of my friends said that she thinks its bad that I raise money for a game clan at a military movie. I would understand if this was a sad patriotic movie...but from the previews it looks like it might as well be "Modern Warfare-The movie"
What do you guys think?

Ehhhh....I personally would agree with your friend. That's not the kind of movie to do that in. It's based on true events and using the REAL US military if I'm not mistaken. So in a sense, that is a patriotic movie(just going by that information).

its a gimmic. No real SEALs. I WISH..But DOJ would never let it happen

So its all about the movie. If I went and did it for the Sci fi military movie battleship it would b cool?

I'm just going by my fiance...he said it was the real deal. xD

Battleship? Yeah that'd be perfectly fine. (Granted I dont remember my Battleship games being that exciting...XD)
