WoW Petopia Community

For the last several months I've been writing a blog about my hunter pets and using it as a place to post WoW screenshots. I admit at first I thought it was bit indulgent. To have an entire blog dedicated to something so frivolous as pixelated pets? It felt a bit weird. As if playing WoW wasn't enough of a timesuck. Now though I love it. It's just plain fun. And taking ss's in WoW has become a favorite pasttime. I could be vegging out in front of the TV so if this is what I enjoy instead then so be it.

I know Vephriel has a really cool blog but was wondering if anyone else does too. The past week or so I've been actively seeking out other hunter's blogs and would like to follow more. So if you have a blog post here! Mine is in my sig!

I do! (Kinda sorta): Aritria's Adventures in Azeroth or Otherwise. I want to make it about Aritria, my main, but I think I'll use it for the occasional philosoraptor post from time to time to. Feel free to follow if you wish!

I really have to update mine soon, I know I haven't been keeping up on that. xD I'll try to work on a new entry tonight. If anyone's curious I have it linked in my signature.

I STARTED one but I haven't really done much with it... I should really get on that. ^^;

I've been inspired to start one although there's nothing to see or read just yet. I'll add the link to my signature here on the forums once I have it up and running.

I hope to get something going on it by the end of this year ...

I intend to start one at some point, but who knows when that'll be. It's good to have this list of people who have blogs, though! I love to read them.

Thou I'm more of a stalker then a stead-fast guild member (must get better at that) <3 I still love browsing these forums and reading up on everyone's latest stories. You guys inspired me to take a blind leap and try my own blog and if its quiet alright, I'd love to follow you all as well.

For me, my pet journal wasn't so much based around people reading it, but more of a diary for myself so I could look back on pets and memories. I'm sure other people enjoy reading the entries too, but if you think of it more as a personal thing just go for it and write down what you want to put.

My blog is primarily a place to post screenshots and talk about my WoW pets. I didn't think anyone would ever read it but according to my stats quite a few people are. Lately I've been getting lots of messages about how people really like my blog. It was even featured on the front page of Hunters Hall recently. I'm glad people are enjoying my site but even if no one else read it I'd still post just for myself.

There are lots of hunter blogs that talk about DPS tactics, stat itemizations, and all sorts of more "serious" things. Mine is screenshots and pixelated pets...totally frivolous compared to others. But it's my blog and it's what I want to do right now. If you decide to make one just stay true to yourself and how you see it not what you think will get the most hits or followers. That will let your own special uniquness shine through and give your blog that unique flavor that only you can bring. People will like it or not like it. It doesn't matter because you're doing it for you not them anyway! /hug

I started my own blog with some cruddy posts. I've written up quite a few since I first saw this thread, but have taken my time organizing them and getting my thoughts together. Yeah, that's not how a blog works... I know. I just wanted to share all my stories and adventures I didn't know where to start ^_^;

I'll try to add a couple a week to keep things entertaining, then when MoP is released I'm going to keep track of everything that seems interesting
