Hee, my first King Krush tame.

Although King Krush never interested me as a tame for Vephriel, I did hope to one day tame him on an alt, just so I could say I had him.
My draenei hunter recently hit 75, so I figured she was a good candidate to own the green dino. I wasn't really going to camp for him though, I was hoping to just run into him.
Well, KK has always loved my boyfriend for some reason. He's found that devilsaur more times than I can count just by randomly flying through Sholazar and going "Hey, that rare dinosaur's up."
Sure enough, about half an hour ago, he's leveling his new priest in Sholazar, and comes across KK. I hurriedly logged in to my draenei, who was all the way in Grizzly Hills, and flew the tortuously slow route to Sholazar on a low speed flying mount. I didn't think he'd last long enough for me to make it there, but he did.
I attempted to tame him for about 15 minutes. I was wholly unprepared, all I had was my hunter by herself. No core hound, no pots, no speed anything. Well, I gave it a good few tries, but he bested me each time with his fear, and I realized it just wasn't going to happen.
So I flew allll the way back to Dalaran to buy some haste potions. Again, I never thought he'd stay up long enough for me to spend the time flying to the city and coming back. Luckily I wasn't too invested in the tame. I mean, I wanted to have him, but I wouldn't have been devastated if I missed out on him. It was a whim thing really, not a passionate goal. Miraculously he was still there when I returned though. I used the haste pots and this time managed to snag him right before he cast his fear.
So, I'm happy to say I have him now on a character. It was a fun tame, if a little stressful of course, but yay devilsaur! ^_^

I definitely couldn't have managed the original one by myself at a bare level 75, but that's alright. It wasn't really about the challenge or the rarity, more of just...I love devilsaurs, and even if the green isn't my favourite colour, I wanted to own him somewhere.
