Breathless pets...

So I was in a H-HoR run today & whenever you're somewhere cold in game, like Storm Peaks, or RFD, your breath, shows...for Yoshi, you can see through his nostrils, but for say, Sciuto my wow-vanilla black wolf it doesn't.
I wonder if all the other wow-vanilla wolves, & the northrend wolves are breathless too, not Vargul Blighthound, but say Bjomolf.
Anyone else notice their breathless pets?
Edit: ya' said Skoll has breath which I checked just because hehe, so means Bjomolf will probably have it too...

Hmm, good question! I'll have to check this when I get home today. I know for sure that Skorn puffs out of his nostrils, but I haven't paid enough attention to see whether my other beasts have the breath vapor or not.

Hm, I don't know. I must investigate. But on a related note...do any of your pets leave footprints? I swear they used to back when I first started, but I might be imagining things.

You are correct, pets did use to leave foot prints, cats, wolves, would leave the pad marks on the snow or sand, now no longer do, I don't know why Blizzard removed this but I sure miss it.

I wish it would come back. Mounts and toons leave footprints. Pets should too.

I've never liked the old-world worgs, either. I like their eyes but dislike everything else - the waddle-run, the tail-flicking, how they bite when they're attacking... But that's just me, I know other people adore them.

I remember awhile back, not sure how long ago, I noticed my imp left tracks of a doomguard in the snow. It was funny, watching him hop...
I just kinda pretended he was making snow angels every six feet...

That would be something if the worm or the snake could leave a dragging trail in the snow or sand. Also, reality-wise, since many tamable beasts that we know of (bugs like wasps and silithids) don't have lungs but rather their body breathes, it'd be neat if when you watch one of your bugs breathe, you'll see their breath all over their body. And I can see how a worm can withstand frigid weather like that beastly one seeing as they have several hearts.
