I stumbled upon these mail boots: http://www.wowhead.com/item=56494

On draenei, trolls, tauren, and worgen it seems they do not have any graphic, so if you want 'invisible' boots on one of those races, these might work nicely for a transmog set. The races listed do not show boots normally of course, but they do still get a sort of sock or cuff around the ankle, so these eliminate that altogether if you want to stick with just the pants of a set or something.

Anyways, I know it was kind of random, but I thought it might be handy for transmog.

Oh yeah, I used those boots on my worgen for a while! Was a tad bothersome when I went into human form because they didn't match his transmog at all, but I don't spend a lot of time in human form so they were some awesome boots to have until I got my proper transmog boots! ^^

I used them for my Tauren for a while when I didn't have matching green ones yet. The thing that made me like them less was when going well of eternity and they showed in the Nightelf form. They just didn't match the set at all. But otherwise they were great.
