So since were losing the ability to both equip the Staff and a Bow at the same time.
I want to start experimenting a little to see how we can continue to do this after Mop hits.

The main issue would be phase 3 and 4 I think.

So what I have been thinking is how do we deal with this?
The tactic I want to try out tonight is at the end of phase 2 (weapon phase) is to drop a snake trap and explosive trap at Telonius before he is rezzed and set my pet near Capinerian. turn MD on and when the advisors are up nuke the crap out of Telonius and re-drop snake trap if needed when of CD. while staying away from capinerian.

Hopefully ill am able to get Telonius down before I get the toy debuff.
then swap to Capinerian and Thaladred. And proceed in to p4.

In p4 I can either KC my way through it and eat the disorientates. If correct Keal will still stay on the pet since we both get disorientated and pet has the highest threat.

Or I can drop some dots (serpent) and get some shots in and then move behind statue till the disorientate goes of and then rinse and repeat and FD when possible to keep my pet on top of the threat list and ignoring the phoenix.

P5 still has disorientate so I hope to burn down keal as much as possible between them.

This is the tactic I want to test tonight my question is am I overseeing or missing something?

Well after trying it last night it was a very messy try but I was able to see p4 at least. (I dint feel like trying it a lot of times I just wanted to get a feel of the phases).

P1 and p2 wont change.
P3 is going to be a pain in the butt (if your traps don't go off) but it is doable, the advisers die faster since your damage is higher but its more chaotic.

for P3 focus on the engineer first drop a snake trap and explosion trap make sure they go of (in my try they dint and I ended up with a toy debuff). Stay minimal 35y away from Capinerian and be sure she's focused on the pet. Burn her down second. after that kill Thaladred position pet behind the statue and kill the last one.

P4:
Easy tactic (Safe):
Since I died in p4 i was not able to really test it, but I think your should be able to either equip the staff and KC your way through the 4th phase and just heal your pet when needed (pet already takes around 1% off every KC) (I did this on my next try when I went staff normal mode)

Hard way(Risky):
You can take some risk and swap between your bow and staff. When the disorientate goes off swap to Bow (make sure MC is not coming next) get a couple of shots in (pref Dots) and equip staff, heal pet and move back behind statue.

P5 I am not sure about I dint get there but it seems he wont cast the disorientate when your in the air only on the ground?

Easy tactic:
Equip staff when your on the ground and Just KC. don't worry about the fall damage from gravity lapse just disengage every gravity lapse and you should be fine.
In the air swap to bow and get some shots in.

Hard tactic:
Ground phase after disorientate goes of swap to bow and nuke and swap back to staff. air phase is the same as before.

Things I did notice during the try:

In p3
when I used Deterrence I dint get feared?
In p4
when my pet and I got disorientated Keal still came for me. So it looks like eating disorientates is a no go.

An other thing I noticed is when I went the normal way of killing with the staff. My MC borked in p4 after I FD the first Phoenix making it despawn. it really made me skittish moving away from the statue >_> so i had to KC my way to p4.

One good thing came from this learning without the staff method after that the try afterwards seemed way easier
