I have just had one of those days which has finally ended on such a high that I had to create an account to let you know.

I have recently reactivated my old account using SoR and decided I would get a hunter to 80. (I have a high level hunter on a my old server!)

The pet I have always coveted ever since I first saw him was Loque'nahak. I knew that I must have him on this new toon.
In between laps of Sholazar I was queueing for dungeons and sometimes venturing to Vash for some questing, always coming back incase I missed Loque.

13:45 I decide to venture off into Northrend and check for Gondria, Skoll and Arcturis.
14:00 Arcturis tamed! Happy Bunny!
12:00 Final lap of Sholozar and npcscan goes off! My heart jumps! Is it Loque? Nope... King Krush
12:01 King Krush tamed.
12:05 Go to bed. Jokingly tell wife I had set my alarm for 5am to do more searching.
05:30 Wake up due to ear infection
05:35 Lap of Sholozar. South West spawn! Npcscan doesn't make its alarm because PC is on mute. See the screen glow. Loque'nahak found!!! Drop off mount, Freezing Trap. Tame Beast!
05:36 Create account for show and tell!

Time to try and get back to sleep now! See you in the morning *yawn*

08:11 Terrorpene added to my collection.
Died twice whilst trying to tame.
First i stood in the lava as well as being hit by his fire.
Second I died 0.1 second before tame ended.
Third popped deterrence and ate some haste food as a i had no pots and tamed him with2k health left!

I saw Karoma and Ban'thalos yesterday too and I would've tamed except I was only level 84 at the time.
Tried rehoming Karoma but the only person who replied to me was 84 also!

I don't know what happened to him!

Next on my list is to get Skoll to finish NR then get Ankha and Magria and I would very much like Skarr although that would require me to do the MF dailies all over again!

Congratulations! Push that luck! You never know what'll pop up.

Also, you don't have to redo all the MF dailies to get Skarr or the other critters that spawn on the other side of the flame wall. You can mount up and run right along the edge of the fire on the lefthand side. Just hug the edge -- try not to fall off, as I've done before! -- and you'll take minimal, if any, damage from the fire.

You'll probably have no problem with Skarr. Seems to me the toughest part about him and Karkin is the "wrong" one always seeming to spawn.

With so many guildmates and friends having left WoW for SWTOR, I wanted to make sure there'd be an engineer around to make scopes for my hunters. That's had me grinding out the MF dailies on my Goblin rogue. It's almost sad seeing so many of the challenge tames up at the same time. Heck, I've seen Solix in that cavern for 5 or 6 days straight now. I think the only one that hasn't set off NPCScan since I started going into MF again is Deth'tilac.

Hunting for pets has given wow a new lease of life for me at the moment!

I got a level 80 hunter from Scroll of Resurrection but I may end up leveling another one!

Ooh Blazewing killed whilst typing this! Shame you can't tame that beauty!

Tis a shame by phoenixes are sentient, mythical creatures so....same reason why we can't tame a dragon.

I've just managed to tame Deth'tilac and bloody hell that was a challenge on my own!

The funny thing was Deth Strike finished casting just as my tame finished so in the combat log it says

"Deth'tilacs Deth Strike hits Deth'tilac for 77490 Shadowflame. (7671510 Overkill)"

0.1 seconds later it would've hit me and I would have had to start it all again!
Thank you Deth'tilac for hitting yourself after I'd tamed you! The ultimate sacrificw!
