All I'll say here, whether or not you want it, it needs to happen. Badly. I have tried out about 7 old race females and 2-3 males and believe me when I say that some of them are so bad it actually hurts to look at.

Blizz is doing it. Its just going to take time for them to get them done.

Dwarves will be first up for updates.

Humans and Orcs are next. But they arent even in the beta atm....the updates I mean.

wait, you've tried the beta and the monk animations are failing? or... okay, what specifically are you referring to?

Oh I know they are coming, they have to, they cannot possibly leave it in as is. I'll remake one of the monks I tried and post a shot for you to see. But this was more of a even if you don't, it has to happen type thing.

they have said they would update them so it will happen though it wouldnt suprise me if we dont get to see that untill late beta.
Im imagening the focus now is to fix reported bugs, missing animations ect.

Do the other races just start off as Monks in their regular starting areas with new Monk quests/trainers added?

Yes, just normal zones for old race monks. And here is a blood elf!

Yep, its like that with all the old races.

Not just the wrist being broken, but look at the size of the hand lol, it's longer than her stomach! But yea, they don't exactly move properly. Human females seem to have the opposite problem, as in they are small and and perma shaped in to a "C"

On the plus side... the tassels from her belt swaying looks amazing, as do cloaks!

Here is a human in fighting stance. When they are in that, the hands actually grow and straighten out some. But it's the legs to look at here...

Gnomes surprisingly aren't to bad, and it's pretty funny to watch them do their lil moves!

I really hope they'll get around to updating the models before launch because I actually want to roll a draenei monk.

AFAIK they already said its not something going out with launch.
