So all of my stable slots are full with my 4 spirit beasts and Rak'shiri...yet..today I saw Aotona a hunter running around with her and that bird never fails to capture me with how pretty she is. So..what do I do.... I have never seen her in the wild and my chances of catching her are slim to none and then theres my issue with warp stalkers...I desperately want one... I LOVED the black/green one but she cannot be tamed anymore The red and yellow and untameable and the beautiful blue isnt in game.. What do I do ARGH!! /yanks hair out - WTB MORE STABLE SLOTS!!
Dont even get me started on the lovely red core hound I'd love to have.../sigh - My puppy needs a mommy or a daddy...

I think for you it might be good to wait until Cataclysm. There will be so few people in Sholazar when that hits you'll have a much higher chance of finding Aotona, and then you don't have to make a difficult pet decision now.

I think I'd have to agree. If you let any of those go now you may have a hard time finding them again later (as I just found out...what a nightmare). So yeah, if I was in your position, I'd wait for Aotona. Personally I have NEVER seen her, even after spending several hours in the basin on multiple occasions. If you release any of the ones you have now, I'm fairly certain you'd regret it. Hang in there!

Funny you should ask this... I just tamed Aotona. I was flying over Scholazar and NPC scan went off. I have a full stable so I...I... I released Sian-Rotam. I know, I never thought I would because of not being able to get him again, but he was living in my stables. I never let him out to play so I figure now he can have fun playing with Pitch. PLus, I've been really bummed about letting my owl, Archimedes, loose to tame skoll. So now he's back... in an evolved state. There are so many pets I want back, I can't wait for the expanded stable slots. I hope blizz makes it like a bank tab and we can tame at least one of each kind of pet.

I'd also say that you should wait 'til Cataclysm, i heard that hunter will also gain more stable slots, but may only choose between 3 while not close to a stablemaster, this reminds me somehow to Pokemon XD
