clarificastion question about archeology

Have i understand it correctly that i need to lvl up archeology in order to max out my other proffesions?
the highest archeologies ive got is like skill 130..
just wondered if i really need to lvl it (ohh i hope not - i hate it
)

Of course not, it's a secondary skill like cooking or fishing. Would be horrible if the game forced you to!

No. I don't think so. I think that came up later in the thread that such requirements were removed.
