This is the first (and probably also last) set I've undertaken involving this many "boss drop" pieces. Normally if only for the sake of sanity, I try to limit those types of items to maybe 4-5 tops, and fill in the rest with crafted, rep or quest gear, but... I started with the Brutal Gladiator's Shield Wall, and unfortunately when I saw how it looked with the judgement armor recolor set, I was pretty much hooked... still might have been able to back away, until I added in the sword... and that was that - there was no going back at that point.

Of my various paladins, Faith ended up being the best fit (and no there are no special characters in her name ), e.g. she didn't yet have a mog set, she was at least close to the right level, and also, weapons and shields display larger on human females, which was perfect for what I had in mind. I leveled her up from 60-67, and then started grinding. By the time I outleveled TBC heroics on the LFD, she had 7/10 of the items... I pushed from 75-78 and resumed grinding solo, using the instance lock CD timer to upgrade her gear, and finally today at lvl 81, after having dropped out of sight for the better part of a month, the last item dropped!

While it may not be my most inventive effort (e.g. I generally prefer doing things piecemeal rather than using entire mog sets), this is one set that I'm quite happy to take "as is" (gear list below the pics).

BTW for the WH40K fans out there... yeah this is pretty much a space marine librarian with power sword.

hmm i like that alot.. i might steal that idea... i got the purple look also on my warrior though she is wearing the revenant set - but that robe do look awesome . And i like your idea for a shield. I was worried that the shield would be to dark but it looks really nice

Thanks. I particularly like the way that the shield wall's unusual "hilt & pommel" features tie into her shoulders..

The shield wall would look good with the revenant set too, that would be an interesting match.
