Aww. I liked the idea of the bookworms being larvae! Although I suppose the caterpillars work; it's just the idea....

Great Cliff Hawk now white again.
Siftworms and Giant Siftworms in JF are now flagged as tameable. But since they're not aggro today (need the right daily) I can't test tameability. I expect they are though.
Gahh. JF is crashing every few mins right now. Must get out of zone.

Aww, I was hoping for tameable larvae, but maybe in a future patch/expansion!Wain wrote:Bookworms in the Scrollkeeper's Sanctum are now green caterpillars, not larvae. So probably little chance of getting a tameable larva.

Found the yellow water strider model and the black and white goat. They are lvl 90 up on Ancestral Rise in the Kun-Lat Summit.

I'm surprised none of the Quilin's are marked as Exotic when they are exotic creatures.

Not all of the water striders are either - but then, some of them were tameable as non-exotic water striders at one point.Jessibelle wrote:I'm surprised none of the Quilin's are marked as Exotic when they are exotic creatures.

I think it's more that it's assumed people find out elsewhere which families are and aren't exotic and this is just a list of where to find themKalliope wrote:Not all of the water striders are either - but then, some of them were tameable as non-exotic water striders at one point.Jessibelle wrote:I'm surprised none of the Quilin's are marked as Exotic when they are exotic creatures.
A lot of extra info, like diets and stuff, was just from early days when these things were first being discovered and we wondered what might be happening with them.

I believe that the three mobs that can spawn during the quest "The Great Water Hunt" are now tameable. It's the one where you help that guy collect swamp water for his beer, in the Gilded Fan area of V4W.
However I'm yet to tame one as I've already done the quests and when other people are doing it the beasts die too fast.
Can anyone tame and confirm, please? The beasts are Waterbite Creeper (spider), Toothrow Skulker (croc) and Glade Pincher (crab).
The spider and crab had changed appearances but I already fixed that on the list.
Cheers

Found a new quilen:
Stonebound Quilen, Veil of Eternal Blossoms (on days when daily "Stonebound Killers" is available), Level 90. Red organic skin. There are two NPC ids, both tameable. 63950 are wandering, 64186 are attacking villagers.

OK, I got a toon to level and confirmed they are tameable now.Wain wrote:I believe that the three mobs that can spawn during the quest "The Great Water Hunt" are now tameable. It's the one where you help that guy collect swamp water for his beer, in the Gilded Fan area of V4W.

Re: Pandaria Beast List (Report found beasts here!)
I apologize if I've overlooked this. I went over the beast list three times though and think I'm correct in saying that with new beasts added in MoP this will make Green Madexx the only unique rare armored scorpid and Deth'tilac will be the only unique lava spider?

Blue Madexx is still rare; there were some in the Dread Wastes in earlier builds, but they seem to have disappeared. The new orange lava spiders were not tameable, so Solix and Deth are still the only unique sources for lava spider colors. Rather appropriate, since they're the kiting ones.

The blue scorpids in TLS were still there last I checked, which was only a build ago. I think the green ones are the only ones still rare.Kalliope wrote:Blue Madexx is still rare; there were some in the Dread Wastes in earlier builds, but they seem to have disappeared. Oops, my mistake then! The last I had heard, they'd gone MIA.Wain wrote:The blue scorpids in TLS were still there last I checked, which was only a build ago. Re: Pandaria Beast List (Report found beasts here!)
It's worth re-checking in case they're gone. Seething Fleshrippers in the southern part of TLS. They have the sha effect and so look black before taming. Maybe it is a phasing thing? I never completed TLS.Kalliope wrote:Oops, my mistake then! The last I had heard, they'd gone MIA.Wain wrote:The blue scorpids in TLS were still there last I checked, which was only a build ago.
