I didn't know that. CoolMakoes wrote:Although I can understand for the calves, having no antlers, but there are a number of deer species where females also have antlers.
It is a bit weird for calves though. And the ones in JF at least have enormous antlers.

I forget which build that happened in, but it was a fairly chaotic one.

He's a monk guardian, sorry!Lazare wrote:I was in beta the other day and saw an alliance hunter with a cat pet that looked extremely like Xuen, the temple NPC. I did a search here and wow head.com and found no mention of him being able to be tamed. Any ideas?

This is exactly what stopped me from thinking that they wouldn't add it in as a tameable hunter pet just because it's a monk pet already. It's too cool of a model not to use!Wain wrote:At least there are precedents, like Karoma is the same as the shaman wolves.

I have the same feeling for void terrors, but nope...we got the floating butthole on warlocks instead. -weep-

Hey now, some of us love our warlocks' floating buttholes!Meggers wrote:Everdeen wrote:This is exactly what stopped me from thinking that they wouldn't add it in as a tameable hunter pet just because it's a monk pet already. ....there is no way to make that sentence sound any better.
The good part about no one having void terrors yet is that there's still hope for hunters, though really, there aren't many super awesome demons to enslave anymore....though since locks can't keep them, that may ultimately be a deciding factor. We can only hope/speculate.

Re: Pandaria Beast List (Report found beasts here!)
I wonder if one reason they chose it is that it seems (I think) to be a higher res, BC model, while the void terror is older and less smooth.
But, anyway, I've kept an eye on void terrors on the beta, as I'm sure others have been doing as well. But I'm guessing there's not much chance of seeing them this expansion at this late stage
