No beta here either but I TOTALLY agree with this. I will NOT take that talent on my lock and do not care about the consequences just because of how it's done. I love my fel puppy and my succ and feel they are ruined. The voidlord is appropriate along with the fel imp but the others are just wrong. I was going to put in feedback on this if / when I get my invite (expecting to get left out to be honest) but am glad someone brought this up.

I don't care what Blizzard SAYS a warlock is supposed to be, I love my demons just like I do my dk ghoul and hunter pets. I made a warlock BECAUSE OF the demons and also did the quests on my original lock for them. (succ quest, puppy quest, void walker quest) Of course, you had to if you wanted them but that's beside the point. I just did not get to do the mount quest as that lock is not even 60 yet (made a worgen and it's 85 instead) and the first mount was gotten from the trainer at 40. (Yes, 40 for what is now the level 20 mount. That's the age of this toon. First mount was still 40.)

I hope they change this but highly doubt it so I'll just not take the talent. If enough warlocks don't take it for this reason and stick to their guns, Blizz will take notice and hopefully not screw up something else. I was seriously hoping when I heard about the new demons that we were getting at least 2 new ones and keeping the others as I only heard about Shivarra and Beholder to start with. If hunters can have 25 pets, why can't locks have 8 demons? (counting infernal and doomlord and upgrading void and imp)

Just my $.02 worth.

Well the Shiiva I dont mind. It's an appropriate change(I would've preferred an incubus though). But the blob, no. I want the demon puppy.

Same, the Shiivan makes sense to me personally. I don't mind her so much (to be quiet honest the constant butt smacking gets on my nerves xD ) but blaaagh blob nothx. :C

I love all the new demons and hope blizz keeps them.

I lent my support. Offered that maybe the unused demon could become a cooldown like the infernal or doomguard.

btw am i the only one that is just weirded out by backside of the observers? every since I noticed it... cannot unsee.

I hate that upgrade-blob too. I would support you but can't post on US forums. Damn Blizz-Barriers

Srsly...the buttsmacking is what made me really hate the Succubus. XD

The Succubus is my fav warlock demon. Heck fav demon out of all the wow ones. XD

and the flexing bunghole on the beholder....its scaring me.

I guess I'm one of the few, but I love the beholder and would be very upset if he got changed. I like all the demons for that talent as a whole.

I do kind of wish that you can pick and choose which demons get affected and which ones don't for those people who don't like certain demons but love others, but it is an optional talent that is not mandatory to take if you hate certain demons that much.

No beta here but i give my support. I’m not that big a fan of the beholder and although I would much rather have one on my hunter, I think a demon core-hound-puppy is a sensible choice for warlocks as an upgraded pet. (also anyone who had a pet bird or a floating companion such as a festival lamp knows how easily floating pets can get in the way. ;P)

dont forget the boss wasp models when they remained big.

Nah, I'm right along with you. I think all of the choices are fantastic, though if warlocks got their own personal Immol'thar then I wouldn't be sad, either.
