Pack of Cheetahs

The Aspect of the Pack tooltip's always annoyed me. "The Hunter and raid members within 40 yards take on the aspects of a pack of cheetahs, increasing movement speed by 30%." Cheetahs are solitary, duh!

...or are they?
Recipe for Lols

* 1 Resto Druid
* 2 Hunters
* Many Potions of Illusion
* 2 Cheetah Pets

Mix the cheetah pets with the Resto Druid by naming both pets after the Druid. Use Move To + Master's Call to force both pets to follow the Druid. Add Potions of Illusion to both hunters. Add to a battleground and stir well.

My guild does a lot of BGs. One of our best players (who always plays a healer) is gearing up his resto druid, named Medren. Another has been trying to gear his hunter. We were doing some BGs and decided, for lols, to all become cheetahs. I tamed Dishu (the first pet I ever tamed on this orc, incidentally) and named it Medren; my guildy tamed a Badlands cheetah and did the same. We went into a SotA, and much lols were had.

* Feigning Death as a cheetah actually makes people move on, thinking you were a pet.
* Shooting & Disengaging as a cheetah is hilarious in itself.
* Enemies chasing after Medren (who spent most of the match in cheetah for lols) often switched to the pets (identical, larger targets but also named Medren) and sometimes spent minutes trying to kill them.

One dk actually spent a good 3 minutes trying to kill my pet on the beach while me & my hunter guildmate laughed on voice so hard that we cried. His two healers stood there waiting for him, healing him from our paltry and inneffective shots (we were laughing too hard and getting too many screenshots, lol) while our team stormed on up through to Yellow. Notice his target (and I don't think this counts as Naming & Shaming or anything, considering he didn't do anything wrong, but if you want me to blur it out just shout):

One of the funnier moments was all of us arriving at Blacksmith (Arathi Basin), where one of our teammates rode up, looked at us and just said "?"

And off into the sunset:

I haven't laughed so hard in weeks :lol:

That looks like it was a lot of fun!

(and a majority of male cheetahs live in coalitions with other males, rather than alone)

Yeah, I'd read that a lot of cheetah brothers stay together, but I figured that was more of a band like prideless lions. "A pack of cheetahs" just sounds wrong, lol :P

I wonder if anyone has done ghost wolves between their hunters and shamans with arctic wolf form yet?

That is too funny. I'll have to try something like this out next week with the other hunter I raid with and our bear tank.

Back when I used to make BG twink characters with friends, one of my friends made a 39 hunter. His pet was Dishu that he simply named Druid. You wouldn't believe how many players would chase his pet!
