To my knowledge I thought everything was reading as Cannot be Tamed, even old world stuff and what not. Well, I just saw a 28 pandaman with something other than his turtle for a pet, so may be worthwhile to check stuff. Even trying to tame without using beast lore.

So what did he have as his pet? That would narrow it down to just a few beasts that could be checked to confirm that something at least is tameable.

Hmmm, the Cata beta offered occasional random race and faction changes. Maybe only because they wanted to test it that time around, but has anyone seem that this beta? If so that could also explain it.

It was an old world panther, I am pretty sure I was wrong in my assumption, I had thought they even made oldworld stuff untameable, but then again i've been focusing on the monk rather than my hunter, so until now I never tested the theory out.

Non-Pandarian beasts can be tamed, so a panda could've just tamed one after they left the starter zones.

I thought someone said they went to re-tame a sambas or something and he was marked not tameable?

I think it has to do with Sambas being level 85. Which actually might be the reason why some of our pets went missing, now that I think about it.

I tamed a tallstrider on my pandaren hunter. It was one level below me, and I tried taming a lioness the same level as me, but I couldn't..

I just got "Skill not high enough" when trying to tame a level 85...going to grind to 86 and see if I can then.

I have tried taming Loque'nahak a few days ago and he was untamable.

Saw a panda with a pale grey spider, and another with a white snow lepard. Both panda's were lv 20-
