Meet Lucy and Minnie!


Lucy is the Meduim lengh Tortoiseshell and Minnie is the Tabby grey and white. It's been nearly a month since Sylvester passed and we where missing having a cat around so on tuesday we went to the local pound. The pound is alot cheaper than the pet shop $105 for a adult cat compared to $185 for a kitten

Anyway we went to the big comunity cat cage and ended falling in love with both of them so we got both XD. We did not take them home intill wensday as Lucy needed to be desexed ( they don't desex female cats intill they get adopted) they said she was going to be grogy from the drugs but she was so hyper that you could not tell she just had surgery!

I'm geting used to younger cats. They are both 2 years old (have not had such a young cat since before I was 10!) and having to have to keep them inside for a few weeks before we can let them go outside is quite a game change. So not used to kitty litter XD.

Yeah she's a nice cat very friendly but a bit hyper.

Yeah she does. Shes very layed back allways wants me to pat her belly but I'm too scared to as I might touch her stiches.

Those two are adorable. Minnie looks a lot like my baby kitty. ^^ And I'm glad to see you have cats in the house again!

Yeah they are nice. They have started showing some bad habits like jumping on tables and stuff but they will learn soon enough that they will get yelled at if they do

yeah same i'm just not used to the energy of them have to get used to cats that jump everywhere haha.

Well the pound was cheaper lol might aswell go to the pound and get a random moggie than get a pure breed cat that is more likely to have problems. Had a few little fights/staredowns but thats normal they have got to find out whos in charge and all that. Minnie had her first staredown with the nextdoor nieghbours cat by the glass door. They will fight once they get outside in a few weeks but no biggy really.

Aww i love them ^^ and i soo miss having cats :/ not allowed to have them where we live now

yeah they are awesome but bummer about you not being able to get a cat

This weekend is going to be a big day for them as they will be able to go outside! They have been a bit stir crazy lately and have really been wanting to go outside (well Lucy has been when she's not being sick) Thursday Lucy will get her Stitches out and her vacination as she could not get it last week as she was sick. But shes been eating alot since then and has not puked in atleast a day and a bit :3
