An Ode to cloud serpents

I must admit it... I hopelessly fell for cloud serpents. I love the model to bits. I don't even mind that they can't walk. I love these dragons. On the Beta, I had my first glimpse of one when I eagle eyed to Storm Peaks. It was such a nice little encounter.

Then, I found another one in the zone above 4 Winds.
I hope so much that there will be a time-lost/Aeonaxx cloud serpent. And that it will be dark. It will be mine, however long it will take.

This is just my opinion but I am almost 99% sure that there will be a rare spawn cloud serpent of some kind. My reason for saying that is that, in the last two expansions, the main dragon-species has become a rare spawn. Time Lost, a proto drake, the dragon species for WotLK when Time Lost appeared. Aeonaxx, a stone drake, the dragon species for Cataclysm when Aeonaxx appeared. If there had been the idea of making an ultra-rare spawn that dropped a mount in TBC it would've probably been a netherdrake. And it looks like cloud serpents might be our dragon for MoP. They might not include in another ultra-rare but they were popular in the last two expansions, they have no reason for not making one.
Cloud serpents have fabulous models with probably the smoothest animations I've ever seen in the game. Their cloth-like tails fascinate me.

Mmm...I dunno.....the rare spawns aren't as popular as you think. Most people that I know that got TLPD didn't camp for him and had no interest in doing do. They just found him by chance. Same with Aeonaxx, which even less people have (MG being one of the most popular servers, I've only seen 5 people have the mount. 4 out of 5 of them found him by pure chance.). If they were that popular, dozens would be camping him. I've camped him off and on and I usually never see a soul out there.
and I think that black one right there might be sha tainted.
Anyway, if they do put one in, awesome. If they dont, I'm not gonna be sad. Not gonna stop me from playing.

I've fallen for them as well! With your post title I was expecting poetry, so I'm compelled to (badly) fill this void:
Trees whisper your name
And crane calls rise through the mists
As storm clouds gather

Being 1/4 Japanese, I always enjoy Haiku. This was neat.

They really are a stunning model.

I feel crazy for admitting this, but I think I'll really love it if there was a rare version as well, mostly if it was a colour I really want. After my Aeonaxx camp I just feel like...if I could do that, I could do anything. x_X

Storm Peaks? You mean Kun-Lai?
Cloud serpents are just so amazing... their model is such.. high quality. It's amazing. I love the little details about them, like when they exhale and their "whiskers" rush forward. ^.^
