Reading the beta forums, I saw something that I haven't had the chance to really take in.... Have Group, Will Travel guild perk going MIA. While some people view it as a good thing and others view it as a bad thing, what got me thinking is this, we in Petopians use it quite frequently to help with rare tames. I personally hope they reconsider removing it as I tend to use it to get people to their tames before some "idiot" comes and kills said rare, I use it to summon toons for old world raids, and I know when there are guild events to be had, it's more enticing to people as a whole if they don't have to travel out to some godforsaken idea of a place... they are more likely to want to be involved in the guild event if there's a summons available to them. If they do happen to remove it, I would at least hope they would put the city portals back into place as that was people's shortcuts prior to Have Group, Will Travel. While I can see that they want people to "experience" the world, what I don't think they have considered is some people are only on for an hour or two, and if they decide they want to do said event, said raid, etc, it makes the short amount of time they have worth it to have the summons. Granted there are summon stones at various instances, but there are plenty of zones that don't have summon stones or instances. Say you wanted to have a low level guild "beach" event in the hinterlands. With summons, you could get everyone there and ready within 10ish odd minutes and enjoying the party, without the summons though, not everyone would want to come, and then you'd have to wait for everyone that decides to come to actually make their way there, and by that time, some of those people with short times on that day wouldn't really get to enjoy much of their time on it because it was spent traveling.

Really hoping our resident lurker pops in and takes a look, and I'm curious to know what y'all think... those that really don't use it, and those of you that use it at least once a day or so.

I personally think it's a good thing... for now. But then I also like the way they restrict flight when you start a new expansion. And I'm hoping, like flight, they'll eventually return it at a higher guild level once we've spent a lot of time in the new continent. *cross fingers on that* (Especially when I personally found the new highest level guild perk, which just gives you a discount on transmog and void storage to be kinda.. underwhelming for the pinnacle of guild achievement. Sure those are expensive things but regular players don't use them all that frequently.)
